For so many people, Iceland is the ultimate bucket list destination. With extraordinary landscapes, intriguing cuisine and, of course, the Northern Lights, Iceland is perhaps the definition of magical. With this in mind, we are delighted to announce that our latest group tour is to this wondrous island.

Having previously ran a group to Iceland in February 2023, we have been itching to go again. Using the knowledge we gained last time we've put together what we think is the perfect 4 night trip. Allowing you to experience the very best Iceland has to offer. Staying at the modern Hotel Storm, located right in the centre of Reykjavik. Included in the itinerary are a few very exciting excursions:

Northern Lights Cruise - There are few things more Icelandic than seeing the Northern Lights dancing above the Arctic Ocean. We will set sail from the Old Reykjavík harbour and begin our hunt out on the dark blue waters of Faxaflói Bay, leaving behind the bright city lights of Reykjavík. With our long experience in reading the Northern Lights forecast and a bit of luck, we will hopefully be successful in our search for the Auroras. We will experience firsthand how the lights constantly change in density, colour, and movement with the gentle sway of the ocean beneath us. This is a thrilling and unique experience you will not soon forget. Our open-top viewing decks provide the perfect platform for witnessing the dazzling spectacle while our heated indoor lounge is a great place to take a break from the Icelandic winter and warm up in between sightings.

We recommend you come wearing warm clothes, however, if you don’t have any, we can also provide warm overalls.

Blue Lagoon - The Blue Lagoon is an outdoor spa located just outside of Grindavík, Iceland. From massages to cocktails, this lovely spa will provide you the relaxation and rejuvenation that you deserve. This hot spring was created a little help from humans, but it is filled with many types of healing elements that occur naturally. From the mineral-rich brackish water to the exfoliating mud, this spa offers rejuvenating treatments in forms that you’d never imagine. The water of the spring naturally maintains a temperature of about 39C/102F all year round. With these consistent temperatures, the lagoon is as comfortable as a bathtub!

Golden Circle By Super Jeep - The Golden Circle is Iceland’s most popular day trip, for good reason.
You see the one and only original Geysir and having Gullfoss waterfall in front of you is worth a day trip on its own. Þingvellir is a National Park, nature reserve, Unesco World Heritage site, and split by the Mid-Atlantic Rift. We start the day in Þingvellir, where the Parliament of Iceland was founded in 930 AD. There, you get a view from “the edge of America” over the Mid-Atlantic continental divide. Continuing, we pass the geothermal heated Laugarvatn lake before arriving at the Great Geysir hot spring area, peppered with small and large boiling water springs. The most spectacular one, Strokkur, blasts boiling water up to 30m skywards, up to 3 times in a minute. After some quality time at Geysir, a short drive takes us to Iceland’s most visited glacier, Gullfoss, where glacier meltwater thunders in two stages into a 70m deep basalt canyon. In the afternoon, we head back again and traverse the South Iceland agricultural heartland on our way home to Reykjavik.

Tomaoto Farm - "In Friðheim, tomatoes are grown all year round despite the long and dark winter.
We also welcome visitors and show them and tell them how tomato growing works. You can sit down next to the tomato plants and taste the products in a wonderfully simple menu, which is of course based on tomatoes. Visitors can take home food souvenirs made from tomatoes and cucumbers, and reminisce about the taste when they get home.

In Friðheim, horse breeding is also practiced on a small scale, and horse shows and visits to the stable are offered for pre-booked groups. Our latest addition is our wine cellar, which is located in our oldest greenhouse. There you can sit down for a good drink and light dishes in a pleasant environment." - https://fridheimar.is/um-okkur/

Accommodation - Storm Hotel - Described as a hidden gem. Storm Hotel is a smart, comfortable and stylish base among the downtown delights of the city centre. Storm Hotel is an attractive and convenient blend of quality service, designer touches and functional grace. With a tasty buffet Breakfast Included in our stay its the perfect base to get the very best out of Iceland.
